Delivery box with built-in SIM card

Deutsche Telekom has developed a delivery box called the "PaketButler" which uses an integrated SIM card to send the recipients of a package a message when the box arrives. The "PaketButler" consists of a cloth bag with a firm base and a lockable cover. It is also fireproof and tear-resistant. The box can be fitted to the front door and used again by users, even for sending returns. The "PaketButler" costs €249 outright or €7.99 per month over a three-year period and is now available in cities such as Hamburg, Cologne and Munich. The price also includes insurance.
