Display shows personalised information

Delta Air Lines are set to use the airport in Detroit to test a digital screen that can display personalised information to up to 100 passengers at once. The pixel technology used here is called “Parallel Reality” and was developed by the start-up Misapplied Sciences. The technology puts out different colours of light in many different directions at the same time. Passengers at Metropolitan Airport, who first scan their boarding pass and select a language, get to see their name together with flight information and updates on the “Parallel Reality” display. The system works on the basis of various location technologies.
