Amsterdam’s IJburg district recently hosted a pop-up restaurant for three days called "IJburg Serveert", which didn't even have its own kitchen. Instead, the food was prepared by home cooks in the local area and then taken to the restaurant by bike messengers. Various three-course meals prepared by different cooks were on offer each day. Curious diners could check out the restaurant's website to see what was on the menu and find out more about the chefs. A full menu cost around €25 per person including drinks. Tables for two, three or four people could be reserved online.
