System turns home into different rooms

The British company YO! has set up the first "YO! Home" in Manchester, featuring an apartment whose rooms can be transformed at the touch of a button thanks to a modular system. The apartments are between 35 and 70 square metres in size and feature a system of counterweights that are normally used in the theatre. This enables living rooms with a couch and coffee table to be replaced by a bed lowered from the ceiling. What's more, the walls can shift and adjust to reveal or create storage spaces, a kitchen or office.
