Using the blockchain for transparent supply chains

The London firm Provenance uses blockchain technology together with its software-as-a-service platform to help companies keep an eye on their supply chains. Users can store details such as the basic ingredients required for making a product, and every product is then given an authentication key to prevent counterfeits. All this back-end information is saved in a blockchain so that it is safe from unauthorised access. The price for using "Provenance" begins at £7 per month.
